Program name and description
OilPriceAPI SMS Price Alerts is a text message program operated by MetiriLabs LLC, 4 Reservoir Circle, Canton, MA 02021, USA, doing business as OilPriceAPI. When you opt in, we send recurring automated text messages from +1 (866) 966-4911 to the mobile number you provide:
- price alerts you configure, sent when a commodity you choose crosses a price threshold you set; and
- account and security notifications, such as verification codes that confirm your mobile number.
We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number on the SMS price alerts page while logged in to your OilPriceAPI account and checking the consent box, which is never pre-checked. We record the date and time of your consent and the version of these terms you agreed to.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with the alerts you configure and market movements, up to 10 messages per month.
Cost
Msg & data rates may apply. OilPriceAPI does not charge a separate fee for text messages; your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply under your plan with them.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You can also reply with any of these keywords: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT. After you opt out we will not send further text messages to that number unless you opt in again. You can also email [email protected] and ask us to remove your number.

Eligibility
SMS alerts are available to OilPriceAPI accounts on a paid Professional or Scale plan, for US mobile numbers. You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
Consent is not a condition of purchase
You do not have to agree to receive text messages to buy or use any OilPriceAPI plan, product, or service.
Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on your mobile carrier and network coverage, and price alerts are informational: do not rely on a text message as the only notice of a price movement for trading or operational decisions.
Privacy
We use your mobile number only to operate this program and your account. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We may update these terms and will post the current version on this page. The OilPriceAPI Terms of Service also apply to your use of the program.
