Anadarko Basin
The Anadarko Basin is a major natural gas and oil province in the central United States, including the SCOOP and STACK plays.
EIA discontinued the Anadarko DPR series and does not currently publish a replacement basin-specific production series.

Understanding Anadarko Basin
The Anadarko Basin covers western Oklahoma and adjoining parts of Texas, Kansas and Colorado. It contains a thick sedimentary section with conventional reservoirs as well as unconventional targets such as the Woodford, Meramec, Springer and Cleveland. Modern activity is often discussed through the SCOOP and STACK play names, which describe development fairways within the larger basin rather than separate sedimentary basins.
Oil, condensate and natural-gas exposure varies sharply across the region, so statewide Oklahoma totals are not a defensible substitute for Anadarko production. The former EIA Drilling Productivity Report region supplied a useful common boundary, but that series was discontinued. Current page coverage therefore separates stable basin reference information from measurements that no longer have a basin-specific federal source.
